The teaching of the Digital Technologies Knowledge and Understanding strand (ACTDIK007) works in conjunction with the complementary strand (ACTDIP013),  which explores the concept of utilising different auxiliary devices to advocate information to an audience. This resource provides opportunities for students to develop their understanding of how various digital systems can be utilised in today’s society for research, various avenues for collecting data and how ICT serves as a purpose in presenting information. Students engage in real life technologies to explore conservation efforts both within the school and at home, document real data on these practices and present information that outlines how human activity impacts upon our world.
